Bago region -DPDM3 #21
Come along with the roadies to Bago this week. Bago was formerly known as Hanthawaddy; meaning “She Who Has Swans” and is a city and the capital of the Bago Region in Burma. It is located 50 miles (80 km) north-east of Yangon. The roadies explore the region where traditional cigars are rolled by hand and the small-scale wooden handicraft industry is suffering from international competition.
